BIOGRAPHY

Hi, Ziyna Ember™ here. I’m in Eliyora’s place at 186,000 Velocity Street™ to give you a glimpse into Eliyora Entertainment’s™ singer of Gospel Music. Instead of a standard biography, I thought it would be more personal to let you get to know a bit of Eliyora through her own words.

Ziyna: Hi Eliyora, thanks for having me!

Eliyora: Hi Ziyna, thanks for coming! Hey I was just making myself a cup of peppermint tea, would you like some?

Ziyna: Sure!   Ah – refreshing!

Eliyora: (Laughs) Yeah. It is refreshing — but it’s also my favorite for relaxing, too. [Sighs] Just finished rehearsing — it’s nice to sink into.

Ziyna: So you are Eliyora Entertainment’s™ namesake?

Eliyora: Well, Eliyora means “lover of God’s light,” and all of Eliyora Entertainment™ is meant to be a blessing of love and joy and light, so there you have it!  I was to be a spokeperson — joining our line-up of Artists was an afterthought. In addition to the messages Sherese Timeless, our very own composer/producer, was harvesting from God’s “song garden” in the air for the other genres, there were gospel songs that refused to be ignored! That’s my neck of the woods so here I am — a little hesitant at first, but once I heard the songs Sherese Timeless composed for me I was delighted to sing them! I don’t really understand her entire process but some of these songs she said she heard in ragtime melodies!  That was intriguing!  It was a challenge — but so much fun!  She’s already written over 20 for me, so I look forward to tackling more — bring ’em on! [Laughs]

Ziyna: Gospel in ragtime — great fun!  And she’s written over 20?  You’ve released five so far, are all 20 in a ragtime melody style?

Eliyora: Honestly, I haven’t counted how many are in rag.  She has written some in jumpin’ New Orleans style, and some beautiful, slow bluesy praise songs that are so filled with Spirit.  And that is what it is all about — fillin’ the house with God’s Spirit, and now with Ever Entertainment™ fillin’ wherever you are with God’s Spirit!  What an opportunity for me to share God’s love and joy with everyone, to share with them that God knows every hair on their head, that they are precious!  I can certainly see why these songs were jumping to be heard in that song garden in the sky!

Ziyna: Can’t wait to hear them! So when will you have the remaining 15 available?

Eliyora: There’s so much going on right now at Eliyora Entertainment™ with everyone releasing their first five singles and all of us creating our Artist Channels — I have to be patient.  I’ll look forward to recording the rest as soon as I can!

Ziyna: So I have to ask what denomination you are — to know where you and your gospel music are coming from.

Eliyora: No worries. I think we can safely say a majority of the really scary things going on in the world today [and, I don’t know, maybe always] offer religion as justification, so you want to know whose side I’m on.  My answer is everyone’s, I’m on humanity’s side, and my religion, if I were considered to have one, is peeled all the way down to the Golden Rule — the universal first “religion” or moral value to exist. You see, it’s still under there somewhere in every cooperative social relationship — I’m just trying to dig it up, dust it off and, well, shout it from the mountaintops!  It gets shoved down whenever it is inconvenient to “love your neighbor as yourself,” and “treat others as you would want to be treated,” to create reciprocal relationships.  It gets swept under the rug whenever it gets in the way of a selfish agenda — and we’re all human, we all want to be selfish if we can get away with it.  But all we have to do is look around to see what happens when we do.  I’m not saying it’s not a tough row to hoe — it is!  But it is worth the effort.  [Laughs] It’s actually funny that we, humanity, act like our very survivial DOESN’T depend on it — but, ultimately, it DOES.

Ziyna: Yeah. The Golden Rule isn’t really in vogue these days, is it.  That’s a tall mountain to climb!  More power to ya for trying!  So what church do you go to?

Eliyora: [Laughs] My church is wherever I feel God’s Spirit.  That’s everywhere!  I absolutely love fellowshipping with others seeking to light God’s presence on fire, and, of course, wish I could wake up every morning in a glorious choir shakin’ the earth with praise — but if you draw a church on a piece of paper, and then draw God’s Spirit on the same piece of paper, what would that look like, if that piece of paper represents your life?  I choose to have God’s Spirit take up the whole sheet of paper, my whole life, rather than just be confined to that little church building you drew there.  I can’t be a bridge stuck in that building.  I actually did that for a lady who was trying to guilt me for not going to the same church every Sunday, for not having just one church, for being willing to attend many and looking to share God’s Spirit everywhere, even in different “religions.”  That rendered her speechless.  That kind of judging’s got nothing to do with God — and it certainly couldn’t pass the Golden Rule!  That’s silly human stuff!  There’s no guilt in God –only love.  And God’s love is everywhere.  Does that sufficiently answer your question?

Ziyna: It does.  So listening to you and watching you get fired up, it strikes me that there are some pretty deep, intense messages in there — and quite a unique point of view — are sermons in your future as well as rag gospel songs?

Eliyora: [Laughs] Sermons?  Uh, well, I have heard those “deep” and “intense” words before.  I don’t know — I’m just callin’ it like I see it!  I guess let’s just leave it at — who knows.  I’ve learned firsthand “If you want to make God laugh, make plans,” so I’m not making any plans — just trying to listen, pay attention and stay out of the way!

Ziyna: [Laughs] Good enough!  Well, we’re looking forward to hearing what that sounds like — with your gospel music, at least for now.  Thanks so much for sharing with us, Eliyora. We wish you the best in your very challenging mission of spreading the Golden Rule.  Wouldn’t the world be an amazing place if you succeed.

Eliyora: Thanks Ziyna. Wouldn’t it?!  I’ll enjoy spending my life trying.  I really appreciate you coming by and sharing a cup of tea!
